Our Green Team
Caring for Country, Creating Opportunity
The Murrook Green Team is a not-for-profit social enterprise built on a cultural and economic responsibility to the Worimi landscape. More than just an environmental service, our work is about connection to Country, community empowerment and sharing Aboriginal knowledge and methods that have been utilised to care for Mother Earth for thousands of years.
Grounded in cultural custodianship, we view land care not as ‘management’ but as a living practice of sustainability. We create training and employment pathways for Aboriginal community members while delivering quality land care across the region.

Our Impact
The Murrook Culture Centre landscape showcases our dedication from native plants to our nursery and restored habitats. We support our community by providing yard maintenance, bushfire asset protection and management trails and other odd jobs required (i.e. tree removal and gutter cleaning etc). Beyond land, we offering career pathways grounded in culture and environmental responsibility.
